About Student Placements

OPAL offers placements to Social Work students from many universities in the North West. Students spend up to 6 months at OPAL getting experience in how to be a Social Worker.
We offer a lot of work experience for Social Work students like assessment, advocacy, group work and chances to support people to develop skills for independent living.
We would like to thank all of our past and present students for all the support they have given to people with learning disabilities in Oldham.
