An advocate is a person who is trained to support you to make sure your voice and wishes heard in decisions which affect you

What can an advocate do?

Help you to find information

Give you time to think about your choices

Help you to say what you want

Our advocates help people with all sorts of different problems including:

  • Money
  • Care and support plans
  • Parenting
  • Work, volunteering and learning
  • Relationships
  • Where to live and housing
  • Making complaints
We are currently not taking advocacy referrals.
